Problem Solver

It would appear that Logan is a future engineer, or at least, future evil overlord.  After dinner this evening, we told the boys to go wash their hands and face in the bathroom while Mandy and I cleaned up.  The both dashed off.  There was very little sound coming from the bathroom for a bit.

A few minutes later, Tyler walked out, hands and face clean.  He said:

“Mom, Logan’s still in there washing his hands.”

Mandy replied “Hmm, that’s funny, cause he can’t even reach the water.”

Tyler calmly shot back “No, he can.  He’s using the toilet paper.”

Now, we aren’t really sure what this means… and Tyler will occasionally say silly thing.  However, something in his tone told us he was being literal.  And we could definitely hear water running.  I think both of us were picturing Logan holding rolls of toilet paper underneath the faucet.  Instead, here’s what we walked in to.  He was quite proud of his problem solving abilities.

That kid is a piece of work.

Clever like his dad. But unlike his dad, he obviously has a hint of coordination, balance and dexterity – because I’d tend to think standing on four stacked rolls of TP can’t be the easiest thing in the world to pull off…
